Firehawks in L.A.

A rare article about air-attack of wildfires comes from the BBC. It was all too reminiscent of writing the Firehawks series, making me feel both better and worse. Better about what I was able to capture in those stories, and worse about how my writing pales against the devastating reality of what's happening in Los Angeles.
