Meet M. L. Buchman

This is me, fresh returned from a research trip to Antarctica as a crew member on a 186' barque tall ship.

I started my first novel while crossing the Australian Outback — mid-bicycle trip around the world. Solo. (I call it my mid-life crisis on wheels.) It launched a career: 80+ novels and 200 short stories so far. I write thrillers with heart, romances with spine, and deadpan humorous fantasy — all championing the human spirit.

I've piloted and jumped from planes, solo-sailed a 50’ ketch, and volunteer as crew on 120' historic schooner. I've recently taken up wildlife photography, and I love to cook and quilt.
